About
Hello everyone,
I spent my childhood and adolescence in Congo. It was a dream. Since returning to the Netherlands, I have been 'lost'... Really. I studied music in Amsterdam and Brussels. I always wanted to go back, far, far, far in order to rediscover nature, the open-mindedness, the smile, the spontaneity of the people there, their desire to laugh and sing, even in the greatest poverty. I like their music, their habits. I had a choir of 60 kids in Belgium with whom we made 16 CDs. An incurable illness ended my career and I moved to the South of France with my two young children. Unfortunately, I never found this open-mindedness which was so typical of Africa. I traveled to India and Australia and each time I was struck by the majesty of nature, by the people, the animals, the music originating there.
I don't like mass tourism, mass construction, the overly modern world, the materialistic world, the superficiality of certain people, and everything that harms our planet,...
I hope to find this open-mindedness again in Guadouloupe.
I am an incorrigible idealist. Sadly from time to time, but I don't regret it.
