I currently live in rural, upstate New York, USA, on a former farm. I'm an artist (painter); have also taught at the college level and am developing an internet-based publishing business. If the political situation permits, I'll be visiting Thailand in June, 2010, and staying for three months on an exploratory trip with an eye towards making Thailand (probably Chiang Mai) my primary home. After some time in Bangkok, I'll probably be in Chiang Mai towards the end of June, 2010, where I'll stay for at least one month. I'd love to meet anyone who reads this in Chiang Mai. Perhaps I can buy you dinner and hear about your experiences there.
