Parisian, studied journalism at the higher journalism school, left for Belgium after military service in the north in the early 1970s. I have always lived in Antwerp, more bohemian and cool than Brussels. Still nostalgic for Paris where I have family and go regularly, but I really appreciate the humor and open-mindedness of the Belgians.
