American looking for information about Ecuador

Speaks English, a bit of french and a tiny bit of spanish

We are planning to move to Ecuador in April and will be there for a scouting trip in February. I am coming with my wife and a 7 your old son and 8 year old daughter. We are hoping to live a more sustainable and free life. We currently have a fabulous aquaponics farm. That is where you raise fish and vegetables in symphony with the fish fertilizing the water for the vegetables and the plants clean the water for the fish. You can see it at www.AquaponicsUrbanFarm.com We are planning to find a school to study spanish for 3-6 months and are thinking of homeschooling the kids until they are fluent. We are hoping to find a home to purchase so we can stay on an investor visa.
