I am French. We travel a lot with my wife. and when I see the enormities, particularly of European women living in Mauritius, I am ashamed for them. sorry but if you don't know how to travel and adapt to a foreign country, to take the locals for money....... so shut up or stay at home. obviously at home you never had a servant or a cleaning lady, but now you don't feel like it anymore because it doesn't cost anything. advice from a frequent traveler, do as you did in France and learn to hang out with and know the people of the country.
