I am from the Dominican Republic, I used to live in Chile from 2010 to 2011 with a visa subject to a contract dependent on my mother. I returned to the Dominican Republic for vacation and I stayed longer than I thought and my visa expired while I was back, which is why I haven't been able to return. I applied for a Temporary Resident Visa (My mother lives in Chile and has permanent residence) since November 15 (the day the count began) and when I left they told me that the waiting period for approval would be 30 to 40 business days from that moment and until today I have not received a response as to whether my visa has been approved or not. In my SAC control panel the status of my visa says ''Validate Background'' with management ''Assign Responsible'', it has already been in that status for several months and it does not change, I am aware that it could take longer due to the number of people applying today but I am already getting worried because it has been a long time.
