Where to sit on a plane?

Never window on long flights.

Window means:

you must get past 2 or 3 people if you want to get up to go to the toilet for any reason (including confirming my membership of the mile high club)

if you're stuck with the '', it's harder to get out.

Walking around on a long flight stretches the legs but you don't have to disturb two people's snoring to get out

You can't see much out of a window when the nearest thing is 20,000 below you.

By a door or aisle but short haul a window seat is always nice. However I always seems to sat over a wing. I normally play videos on my phone or tab or something so I don't pay much attention to anything.

In continuation of Fred's pragmatism, agreed that for a long flight, aisle is the best.

Though, it often depends on weather. If its a clear day, I prefer to take a window seats. Makes from really good areal shots with my camera. On regular flights, and the long ones, I go for aisle. As the article says, its great for utilities. Though, I wouldnt Really get up to grab my bag and stand in line waiting for door to open. I prefer to chill out at the seat until the aisle is cleared.

Oh, and it also makes it great to have a conversation on both sides.

As far as window seat goes, I do get it sometimes. While the view is killed, it is probably one of the most comfortable places on the plane. I would actually prefer that during long flights where I have to take a nap.

Thank you for the subtle correction Fred, and the double.. wait, triple entendres!! I will be careful in my future aerial shots preferably void of any aerials! Hahaha.. : )
