There is no MacDonald is Dhaka. KFC and Pizza hut is available.

Other fast food shops are American burger, A&W, Arabian fast food, Helvetia, Chicken King, Wimpy, Bella Italia, Dominous Pizza, Western Grill, BFC, American Fried Chicken, Golpea Burger, Hot Hut, New Yorker, Sausly's and many more.

My favorite is the Portuguese chain shop聽 Nando's. Then i also like Bella Italia (for pizza), Kings (Malaysian food) and Captain's world (owned by Bangladesh Armed Forces).

There's KFC + Pizza Hut in Gulshan and Dhanmondi and there's Nandos as well..

There are lots of good places.. fast food as well as proper restaurants.. We went to a really nice steak house in Gulshan but I can't remember the name of the place and there are other buffet style places like Baton Rouge (at the top of Pink City in Gulshan)..

Be careful with the water and don't buy from street stalls on the road tho.. no matter how tempting it might be or how tasty it looks..

Can anyone suggest a good ice-cream place? We used to go to Dolce Vita years ago when there wasn't much choice..

There are lots of Ice-cream parlors, a good one is Club Gelato on Road 11, Banani.

For steak, "Spitfire" and "Steak house" in Gulshan-2 are good.
