Best VPN for Suzhou, Jiangsu

Hi, everyone!

I鈥檓 moving to Suzhou, in the province of Jiangsu in a couple of weeks, and was wondering - which is the best VPN to use there. I鈥檓 looking at different ones, but am not sure which will be the most effective. I鈥檓 also trying to go for a bargain to keep costs low. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Hi Ali, my kids have just moved to the same problems, Nord did not work at all. Astrill seems to be working well.

LetsVPN is the best VPN in China.聽 Never any interruptions.聽 You will need a Chinese native to pay for you but its worth it.聽

astrill is getting expensive now, but it holds 5 devices, while LetsV** much cheaper, but connected no more than 2 devices.

you can also consider mullvad VPN, it is really good, and costs around 40 rmb per month for 5 devices

ExpressVPN and NordVPN are solid for China, but Surfshark is a cheaper option that still works well.

Leaving this here for anyone else who finds this thread through search, since it's a bit older.

China has been cracking down hard on traditional commercial VPNs lately. If you're moving to Jiangsu or anywhere around there, the standard big-name providers get blocked constantly because their server IPs are easily flagged by the firewall.

Your best bet right now is to look into dVPNs (decentralized networks). I've been using Mysterium VPN for a while because it routes traffic through residential nodes instead of massive data centers.

It's way harder for the Great Firewall to detect, and bonus point for the OP's original request it's pay-as-you-go, so it actually ends up being a bargain if you aren't using heavy bandwidth 24/7.
