Hi! A 2 months wait is not the usual or average but definitely not unheard of. Could your employer reach out to MoM to seek an update? It's actually perfectly fine to do so to get clarity.

If its your first EP then exact 3 months is usual if your company is not big; can keep in touch closely with your employer .

As it has already crossed 3 months of time and still the EP status is pending. Tried reaching out to employer recently who updated me that there are no comments/concerns from MoM yet. However, this is not my first EP application. Not very sure about the reasons for the delay yet. In my view it seems to be very unusual.

It is my 6th year in Singapore. May be, I should say, first EP application post the MoM changes of introducing new processes (compass scores etc.).

If anyone has any updates, news to share please help with that information.

Your EP has been approved ready? I also pending 2 months ready this week

The waiting time really depends. I know some people who got their EP in just a few weeks, but others had to wait longer. Best to just stay in touch with your employer and wait for MOM鈥檚 update.

First Application: 26 Aug

Additional document submission: 19th Sep

Initial Application 26th Aug

Update from MoM at 19th Sep, with:

"We need 4 more weeks to decide on the outcome of this case as we are waiting for inputs from other agencies. Once we made a decision, we will notify you by email"

I think my age is not qualified to get the minimum salary point. (I am getting 6k at 31, with a role as a postdoc researcher). I am waiting for too long and about to give up. My deadline for checking in to my job is 3rd Nov according to the offer. Has anyone shared a similar experience? What does they mean by "input from other agencies"? Thank you so much!

did you get any updates?

@e0669559 鈥�waiting for inputs from other agencies鈥� means they have contacted third parties (most likely in your home country) for information needed for their decision. The result will then depend on the speed in which those parties reply.

Yhis is standard procedure in their check of your background.
