Employment pass renewal issues

I got a job offer as a software engineer. Even if I got my EP I am worried about the renewal of the EP. Recently I am seeing lot of EP rejections specially in this forum. Is that case recently?

Yes unfortunately it is, mostly in middle management but I鈥檝e seen it with senior executives and even
C-level as well. I know friends and acquaintances who have decided to leave Singapore after several years because they don鈥檛 want to live with the uncertainty or are just incredibly p*ssed off聽 (as are their HR departments!) for having to renew every single year where previously their EP would be renewed for 2-3 years. Especially for those with kids in schools it鈥檚 not sustainable to live with this hanging over their heads. It鈥檚 a shame, Singapore didn鈥檛 use to be like this.
