Its a big red flag, getting a retirement visa for you and your husband without having enough funds!!! You need to consult with an authentic and experienced lawyer regarding your query. Offering extra money, i guess, can only provide you with a short time solution but in the long run, you might be falling in a pitfall so better take careful steps. Best of luck

I would recommend you for the retirement visa with income then. If you do not have enough passive income to meet the requirements then do not come Thailand does not want you and they are targeting these people to be kicked out of Thailand.

2ed it is illegal that's not legal to go what you are asking to do. Very big red flag! And Thailand is targeting these types to not get retirement visa and to be kicked out of Thailand.  I would not trust and agency that says anything different.  I am not providing any legal advice or knowledge on this matter as I am just a foreign living in Thailand.  This is just from the TV,  newspapers, and YouTube plus a few others that are here and some who left very quickly.

On the reality side of life. If you do not have enough money passive income do not come here. These types of people make life here harder on the rest of us living here. And working on a retirement visa is also illegal and will get you removed from here.  Someone and his wife I bumped into a few months ago tried this and when it was found out they were gone in less than a week.

Do not break the law here you would be a non citizen and have no rights from your homeland.

please do NOT use a visa agent for the retirement visa application!!!! you will be stuck using them for next 10 years of renewals because it is approved by their corrupt connection in Immigration

this is what I have learned recently, it is NOT worth the huge risk

and you just make a corrupt system even more corrupt they have no motivation to improve it...

I have ThaiLife medical and life insurance,  you might ask a quote from them.

I learned they are adequate payers.

But if you have an illness already, they might not let you board the insurance ship.
