I would say yes, you would. Most countries are now requiring to self-isolate even with a negative test result.

I'd call Bulgarian embassy or consulate in UK.

Quarantine requirements

When flying in to Sofia,iif PCR test outdated or wrong type,, can you pick up car from carpark and collect money from bank to drive home for quarantine-_I understand buses not permitted for journey or should you take a Covid compliant taxi_

I renewed residency card but聽 issue was delayed because of new photograph so was asked to pick it up in early January. Will this be on line for immigration desk at Sofia or are systems not linked

If you have residency or citizenship you can enter without a negative test but must quarantine.

If you don鈥檛 have residency or citizenship you must have a negative PCR test less than 72 hours old.

The test result needs to have specific things like your DOB to be accepted by border authorities. It鈥檚 worth checking those finer details nearer to the time of travel as it changes often.

In U.K. you can take another test after so many days to end quarantine early (we have to isolate coming back into U.K. regardless of negative test entering) I鈥檓 not sure if this is also an option in BG, I thought I鈥檇 read it was...
