Hi Dana, no is not legal to do so. You will need a CPR number to be hired at any position. Maybe some people are working without it, but it's illegal and I don't see the point on doing that. I suggest you to approach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to find out more about how to get a residency permit, there's a few options.

No it isn't as far as your have your residence card and the (CPR) you can work in Denmark.

I don't think it's a good idea to come to a new country with entry visa requirement without a job or a Job offer.
