Moving personal effects from UK

Just a heads up if moving personal effects from UK to Malta do not leave until after a year of relocation as will need to pay import duties and VAT on all effects even if used!聽 I have also found myself with a hefty bill from Eurotrans who are the middle men here for storage and extra paperwork!
