how to open a Bank account?

Hi, in Spring I visited Montenegro. I would like to buy an apartment as investment and maybe to move in (but not soon). Can I open a bank account without the residence? Are there bank clerk who speaks English? Thank you!

hello

I have a house in Herceg novi and had no trouble opening a bank account and now use on line banking, the staff in H Novi branch of ERSTE all speak good English and are very helpful.聽 I am a UK citizen.

Hi Lilli,

For a non-resident bank account the only think you need is your valid passport. That's all...

There is about 14 banks established in Montenegro, here is the list:
