Welcome! I'm not super-familiar with K-12 schools in the Netherlands, but Groningen is a really nice town.

If you are going to be there for work, you might want to ask the HR department there if they have any recommendations. Groningen's city website has a section in English and links to an International Welcome Center If the information on that site doesn't give you what you need, you can likely email them directly.

Also, here's a few schools I found just by Googling.

@inara ushk Good morning,聽 Groningen is a nice city but it is overrun with students which probably won't effect you too much.聽 Have you considered putting your child in a dutch public school?聽 You did not say how long you are moving to Groningen for.聽 The public schools are very good.聽 Children start on their 4th birthday so your child will probably be in groep 3 (third year).聽 We moved to Haren (5 km from Groningen) when our girls were 2 and 3.聽 They started in a dutch preschool and started public school at 4.聽 Everyone in the Netherlands speaks English and children adapt so well that I don't think it will be an issue for your child.聽 Many immigrants in the Netherlands so many, maybe all schools have special programs for non dutch speaking children.聽 For 1.7 year olds I really can't advise you.聽 You'd have to look at daycare.聽 And yes, talk to your future employer to see if they can help you.聽 Housing is hard to find in Groningen and daycare's have waiting lists.聽 Good luck!

We'lle be to live in Groningen soon, our first doughter is planning to study medecine in the faculty of medecine in Groningen, but our seconde doughter聽 is 16 and she should enroll in a high school. Is there any high school with nternationnal curriculum. Actually she has done all her scholarship in Paris.

Yes, St. Maartens college Haren has a international high school.聽 You can look it up online.聽 International School Groningen.
