Eg. For Netflix:


With MEO Box, you can access Netflix on channel 88.
Just log in, enter the email and password associated with your Netflix account and you can start streaming watching straight away.



Regarding HBO Portugal service on the TV Box is exclusive to Vodafone Portugal. With MEO operator, you must have an Android TV Box, only available to customers with MEO optical fibre.

Doesn't Roku work? I thought all you need is Wi-Fi and it does not matter what country you are in.

Yes, you can

For setting up Roku in Portugal, you just need to switch on the wireless remote that comes with it, connect the box/pen to the Internet, create an account on Roku and activate the device you've just connected. It's not common in Portugal but for english speakers expats it's a great option.

For now, you can only buy Roku in Portugal through the Internet (Amazon & other webstores).

Why are roku's and those type of devices not that popular in Portugal? Are there not enough Portuguese language apps on them yet?
