Taxi apps?

Are there any good taxi apps for use in & near Alicante city?

In particular, we'd like to be able to get to & from San Juan playa via taxis if needed.

Very happy to use buses (the L21!) & of course the trams but sometimes we do find we need a taxi (my wife & I are now aged 120 between us!).

We're staying out in El Campello - as far as I know there's only the one rank next to the tram station.

We recently used Freenow in Barcelona - really good. Does that work in Alicante?

I had the cabify app and used that for a medical appointment: the taxi never turned up... Mega-stressed out so downloaded the Uber app which my husband had used. Uber driver told me that there arent that many taxis on Cabify.聽 I've heard that Bolt is a relatively new arrival to Alicante but haven't tried it yet.. Friend who has been living here for decades recommended Pidetaxi but the reviews on the app aren't great... Best of luck
