Thanks for your reply, apologies for the slow response, we are working flat out at the moment, sorting things out for the move.聽 We have bought a house with a good size workshop, and I intend to fit it out with my tools and equipment, as suggested, I am not taking my Jet lathe to Andaluc铆a, I want a larger more powerful lathe.聽 I have been in touch with a German company, and may have one shipped to me once I have set up my workshop, as I have not managed to find a supplier in the Malaga region.聽

Hello Paul,

Just wondered if you managed to set up your workshop?

I eventually bought my lathe from a German company. Since then I have bought any equipment I need from them as well, still cant find anyone in Spain who can supply stuff relating to woodturning, its very frustrating as I have to pay import tax and a very high delivery charge.

Also, I still cant find anywhere to purchase kiln dried wood, I really like turning Olive wood, but do so from the logs I buy as firewood, almost all of which is unsuitable.

If would be good to hear from you, or anyone who has similar experience.
