Hi ,

I was working in Bahrain and my opinion is Bahrain is better than Dubai.
Dubai is very crowded and a lots of聽 temptations .
Also 5000 dirham -500 BD -1300$ is good reason to choose Bahrain.

I am still trying to make a decision since I already have a settled life in Dubai... relocation hassles.. new city.. adjustments etc... is it worth the price difference of 5kAED???

And also... will the quality of life be the same in Bahrain ???
All the posts that I have read are for 2014/2015...
the latest 2017 thread does not have much detailed info....

Also ... input from someone living in Bahrain and has lived in Dubai in past would be a big advantage for me... kindly help me on this

Education is expensive in Bahrain .. so as I have heard... will the mentioned salary be sufficient for education for 2 children ???

Any pointers on the children education part ???

work life balance ... standard of living... children education.. and cost of living... (no partying/drinking habits)

Bahrain Work is more relaxed not rushed and not as much pressure.聽 Dubai standard of living is higher, but so are costs and rental rates.聽 Education in Bahrain is one of the best in the world.聽 Dubai has higher cost of living.聽 You can find cheaper restaurants in Bahrain.聽 Social life in Bahrain is better, more friendly people, easy to communicate.聽 More humble down to earth.聽 Not as much to do as Dubai, since Bahrain is smaller, but still few malls and nice restaurants.聽 If you keep with good social life and friends, it can be fun.

Overall,聽 Bahrain is better for long term living and 'settling down'.聽 Dubai is better for tourism and short term living.
