Obtaining a driving licence

Hi
I would appreciate any information to how may I obtain a driving license in Jordan.

I currently have a full UK and UAE driving license, can I get the same for Jordan without a test as I did for the UAE license upon showing the authorities my UK license.

A real pain, but told I could go to Minister of Interior in Amman if have valid stateside driver's license.聽 Mine was expired so I did the school for 160 JD, took the written test 5 times and did the driving part one time.

Then seems like it was 120 JD to the Aqaba Police to issue the license.聽 So now I have Panama, Texas and Jordan.
