Once you are in Lebanon, you will celebrate your marriage and obtain a marriage attestation from the religious authority that performed the ceremony, whether it's a Muslim or Christian authority.

You will need to register your marriage in Lebanon to obtain a marriage certificate. Afterward, you should register it at the US Embassy. Your husband will also need to register the marriage at the Syrian embassy.
