Hi,

I have got a job offer from muscat.they will pay me 600 to per month...no accomodation,food or transport...right now in India I am getting 35,000 in hand...so I am confused right now..how to compare this two salary???

HI i was in muscat for 7 yrs...600 is not a bad package.but still r u a bachelor or do u have family?

600 OMR equivalent to 80,000 IRS.
If u come with out any facility like accommodation,food and transport in that case You have to spend around 300 OMR for total expense-including acco.+trans.+food+tel (Bachelor status)
so you can save 300 OMR=40,000 IRS.
So,decide your self...not bad for entry first time in gulf.

Anyway, in general, the offered salary is somehow OK for a bachelor, however it wouldn't help in a longer term being with a family. The basic reason is the accomodation. Rents are way to high in Muscat city. Even if you're able to get a 1 BR apartment (at the least rent of聽 OMR 200), you'll not be able to save much. Else you're the best judge of ur own..
