I'm living in Dammam and I think it's better than Khobar,as there are many shops and markets and it's more lively than Khobar.

As for schools in Alkhobar聽 all international ones there so if you want to live Alkhobar is better for your family

Khobar is much more better than dammam anytime.. much more "cosmopolitan" i would say. And with so many expats living here, it feels a bit more comfortable.

The only good thing for expats is that Khobar has more foreigners than Dammam. For other aspects, Dammam is much better. It's facilities are better, it's calm, and it's easy to reach wherever you want.
My two daughters study in an international school in Khobar. The bust picks them up and gets them back to Dammam daily. No worries.
