I shifted to Jubail. Your son need a speech and language assessment to聽 understand the degree and severity of stuttering. Then, if needed you can do speech therapy. From two and half years it is normal for kids to have little stammering..it is known as normal non fluency. It is a聽 part of speech development. It is better for parents to avoid and not to give attention to this stammering..It聽 will fade away...Should not try to correct him..
.If it exists still after six months,
you can consult a speech language pathologist聽 for an assessment...If he is left handed,should not force him to be right handed..Never judge his speech as he is having a problem..it will make the things worse..Avoid emotional stress for kids...Hope it helps.Feel free to ask for any help.

Hi,
I'm doubtful whether my son needs a speech therapist or not.
my son is 3.5 years old. we are from south India, Tamilnadu.
He is not speaking as fluent as the other children of same age.
He is able to repeat the words, alphabets from A-Z and number 1 - 20 even though not very clear but still understandable.
But he is not speaking continuous phrases. maximum he is talking two words together.
Do we need to consult a speech therapist or is this normal for his age?
