Saudi council of engineering membership

I am an electrical engineer. I applied for engineering membership at the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), but it was rejected because I have less than 5 years of experience in my certificate. I still have about 1.5 years remaining to complete that requirement.


Because of this, my company is unable to issue me an Iqama. They informed me that an engineering Iqama requires this membership. However, in the project where I am currently working, having an engineering Iqama is mandatory. As a result, I am in a very risky and uncertain situation from all sides.


So, if anyone knows how I can obtain engineering membership or an Iqama under these circumstances, please let me know.

No solution in your case.

Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) requires a minimum of five (5) years of documented professional experience for foreign expat worker in order to obtain Iqama.
