My name is John, and I鈥檓 writing from North Carolina. I鈥檓 approaching retirement and am seriously considering San Miguel de Allende as my next home.

I鈥檝e joined this forum to learn from those who already live in SMA or have experience relocating there. I鈥檓 especially interested in insights about neighborhoods, housing, daily life, and what it鈥檚 like for retirees settling into the community. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
