G'Day, I consider myself Polish-Australian, currently living in Ireland. Not liking it much here, so seriously considering relocating to Vanuatu. I visited Port Vila in 2014, but it was just for a day, so didn't see much:-( I am planning to fly there this year, walk the streets and experience it again. I'd be looking for a place to stay in Port Vila - ideally something small and self-contained like a granny flat or studio apartment. I work on-line so good internet connection is a must.

Moving forward, I am interested to buy/lease a small 0.5 - 2 hectares organic farm where I could live a quiet, rural-type lifestyle, growing my own food and running some farm animals. It would be good to have a good neighbors or even live an an organized community like to ones listed here [link moderated] but it all depends on the members, practices, guidelines, by-laws and so on, so hard to find a common-sense one that fits the bill.

I don't need a visa to enter, but my maximum stay period is 90 days.

I'd say it is more than enough to look around, catch up with locals and make a decision. BTW - do you Guys organise any catch-up/meetups regularly or on a ad-hoc basis? I'd love to meet&greet members while I'm there.

I read getting residency options聽 guide and it look like the easiest route would be to invest 100k USD into real estate or local projects(business. So this could entail buying a property in the county or simply investing in local building projects. And it look like it's a fast route too - the process typically takes a couple of months, with documentation issued a few weeks after approval.

I have a question about English school for my 7yo daughter. Are there any good ones in Port Vila or somewhere else? Are there any Montessori-type school available?

I did find two schools on the internet: Port Vila International School (touted as The Best) and Luganville International School. Are there any others?

As for Montessori-type school, I only found Peter Pan School and while not explicitly Montessori, it may appeal to families seeking alternative methods. Not sure how good this is...

Lastly, could you connect me with families with young kids 7-10yrs old, pls?
