@NewBrazil "Shelter in Place" Seriously my wife and family live 6 hours away near Jericoacoara in a small village. When I first met my wife she lived in Fortaleza, and we took a tour of the city. I loved it, but that was over 30 years ago. Today it seems to be full of graffiti etc. I remember Mercado Central being a much, much cleaner place.

Closing my eyes I will tell you that I loved the restaurants at the end of the red bridge near the beach. I loved driving the dune buggy's in cumbuco, i never went in but my wife used to live behind the big soccer stadium so that would be a great place to catch a game. I will tell you that other EXPAT.COM people have loved Fortaleza as well as my young daughter who had fun shopping in the big RIO MAR mall.聽 Enjoy!!

Came聽 in Fortaleza 2months ago, i live near to RioMar shopping center Papicu.

I would like to meet other expats in Fortaleza.

I live very near the beach near Satelite Beach near the Beira Mar. we go walking there on the Beach st lest 2 to 3 time a week. This is in the evening it鈥檚 the place people come it鈥檚 very safe. I been to Rio Mar Shopping it our favorite. I find Fortaleza mostly a very slow pace way people live here. It seem hard to get to know the locals. There a Expat Facebook group you should look at.

I AM LIVING IN RJ FOR A FEW YEARS BUT HAVE PLANS TO VISIT FORTA SOON
