Parisian, living in San Francisco for 40 years. Me and my wife are considering a retirement in Panama. This country attracts us for its climate, its stability, its beaches and its nature, but also for the advantageous cost of living. San Francisco and the entire region are very beautiful, very good climate (morning fog in summer, which dissipates to reappear in the late afternoon! The surroundings of San Francisco are spared from fog except along the edge of the ocean. One of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities in the USA, a little bourgeois but the people are generally very welcoming. Looking forward to exchanging ideas. Experiences or advice... Dominic
