About

I am FRENCH and I will never deny it. But there is the MAURICIEN exception. I have known Mauritius since 2009, and have been married to a Mauritian since 2011. I love this country where I feel peaceful and rested. As soon as I take the plane to go to Mauritius, I change my personality. Less stress, far from the FRENCH public treasury with its taxes. In short, for me it's paradise. Even my wife notices this transformation. In Mauritius I have many more friends than in FRANCE. And jokingly, I often tell my French family that I arrive in MAHEBOURG at 11:00 a.m. and around 11:30 a.m. I am already drunk seeing my friends with a bottle of RUM in hand. And yes in Mauritius reunions are also part of folklore. I love this country and very often count down the days remaining to obtain my retirement in order to settle there. How to speed up time!!! I really plan to settle there with my wife, and thus enjoy life and the welcome of the Mauritians. Do you know that before our return to France, each Mauritian friend brings us a packet of seeds to thank us. I take all these seeds with me every time and believe me, the excess baggage fees certainly cost me more than the packets themselves. But these are the gifts of the Mauritians and they must be accepted at any price, because these gifts are a gesture of great friendship. I hope that one day, all the people of the world will be able to take an example from these very friendly Mauritians who accept all human differences. I am proud of these MAURITIANS.
