We are a retired couple, we are looking for the sun, we have heard a lot of good things about Portugal which welcomes French retirees with open arms. So why not if we find a house that appeals to us. We are currently thinking about it and we are going there very soon to see. What is the best region? How much does real estate cost?

We have just acquired our future primary residence. We really fell in love with this house. All we have to do now is organize our move. Probably April 2016..
It's the countryside but we won't be far from shops and the ocean. Lisbon can be reached in 1 hour.
