Finally, I chose Mauritius... after several months of reflection!
Too bad for Alicante in Spain and its beautiful beaches, its welcoming public, its festivals and its very inexpensive rent (F3 on the first line of the sea for 420 euros / month). Too bad also for Berlin and Brussels, my European capitals that I had "spotted" for the cost of living and as a result, plenty of low-cost flights within reach... Cheap, quick and peaceful escape guaranteed!!!
At the beginning of October 2010, I came back 鈥渢o basics鈥�! I keep my job in Europe but live on the island of my childhood, where I was born and raised...
My friends, my family on the sister island, the sun, the beaches and the proximity to the island of Reunion for its mountains and the breathtaking landscapes inland...
鈥淐ommunalism鈥� and the exorbitant price of plane tickets (300 euros on average for the 150 km between Mauritius and Reunion... 45 minutes of flight - It lives up to its name, a FLIGHT)
