I have known Bulgaria for 10 years and I live there for about 5 months of the year, often from the end of April to the end of September and the beginning of October. Previously I was a group guide and I traveled Bulgaria from North to South and from East to West for 7 years. I don't speak Bulgarian fluently but enough to get by on my own. I don't hang out with any French people and hardly any French speakers. My friends are all Bulgarian. it's easier to learn the language.
