Worked so hard on a short film; but at the same time, I had a tough time emotionally with a doomed relationship - many difficult days there; and on return.

Qasbar Canal, Sharjah - I had a really lovely one-bedroom apartment there; and it was great to have lots of restaurants and eateries just down below; very relaxed, family oriented place - I miss that place, still, very much. I loved walking along the Sharjah Broadwater.
Too much traffic in Sharjah roads - a bottleneck of traffic snarls.

All the upheaval and stress of a new country, work demands, missing my family; and there was way too many men in groups who 'stared' whenever I walked outside. Was creepy and disgusting and was a pivotal reason for moving Emirates.

The deep cultural history; the friendly people of Nice; and just being in Europe - was so happy there.
I was recovering from a breakup (very painful time); was missing the time with his family who I still love dearly; and the filthy rotten Thieves who stole my broadcast quality camera gear - all that just about broke my heart, and it sure changed my destiny; plus, I was thrown back to Australia without any choice in the matter. Took another seven months to find an employment contract - overseas!

Language barrier; living at the school meant I couldnt escape the situation; and getting very ill from a virus - so ill, that I had to return back to Australia early.
