Was it initially rejected? If yes, can you please let us know the rejection reason?

Normally if they had appealed, the status will just stay "Rejected" and will change to "Approved" once it's approved.

No, its pending status since application submitted.
MOM asked my employer to provide justification document that why they hire from outside.
My employer submitted documents on 19th Aug.
After that no updates.

One of my friend went through a similar situation in Apr this year. His company provided justification and after 1.5 month he received his EP. I think most of the cases are unique so not sure if you can draw parallels here.

2. 25/08/2020: We need inputs from other agencies to process this application. In most instances, the outcome will be available in 4 weeks' time. Some cases may take longer
3.10/09/2020: Approved
