@komalsinghk2 I applied for the work permit on 15th Sep, and haven't received any update yet. May anyone in the group also apply for this on the same day as me? I am looking forward to hearing from you. I am in Flanders region.

I live in the Flanders region, but my employee is in Brussels.

@ozan öfke I think if you are already in Brussels, you can start working once your permit is out and you can get the RP later

I have a schengen visa type C , and i got only the WP, can i travel now and start working till i get the RP , should i also apply for visa D or i can skip that?

@M Latifa I am not sure. I don't think you can work with your type C visa. You need to get your resident permit. I would say it is possible for you to work if you are already in Belgium and you have a residency card.

@komalsinghk2 Hi.. Even I applied on 19th September and have not received any update yet.

After sendinf an email , i have received this:

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

You enquire about the status of a single permit application.

This request is being processed by our services.

The treatment period can take around +/- 8 to 10 weeks through our services. This counts from the date of the region's decision. Our handlers do everything in their power to keep this treatment period as short as possible.

@M Latifa I have received the same email today . I'm waiting since 9 weeks

I guess there is no need to message them again. I will wait a little more before writing them.
