Question re translated documents for D visa

I'm trying to get my D visa paperwork sorted out as quickly as possible, but have a problem with delays getting my apostilled documents back.

I know I need to submit apostilled documents, but the question is, does the translation need to be done on the actual apostilled documents?

When applying for things like the ACRO check, I bought two or three just in case there were any problems. So it's the genuine official document, identical to the one I sent off to be apostilled. Just without the apostille.

If I'm following your question correctly, you need to send the document and its attached apostille to be translated. The apostille is as important as the original document, and the translation should include the complete wording and content of the apostille, as well as the fact that it's attached to the document. Multiple copies of a document require individual apostilles.

Thank you! That's what I thought, but I wanted to check because t would save money and speed up the process if I could get the documents translated while I'm in Bg. But if the apostille needs to be translated too, I'll have to wait and pay more to get the translations done when I'm back in the UK.

How are you? Did you have the op yesterday or have I gotten the dates mixed up?

I'm just waiting to get wheeled down to the Butcher's Shop..
