Dear Priscilla,

Not all your questions apply to me (no children, no car, no gym, no cinema) but here's what I'm facing retired here in Herceg Novi, Montenegro:

Numbers are in euros . . .

rent: furnished one br/bath apt with fantastic view of the inlet to the Bay of Kotor from my balcony - 300/mo

internet/tv - 27/mo

phone - pay as you go cheap phone . . . add a few euros every now and then

espresso and a glass of water - 1 euro

health insurance - (every 3 months) 71 Note:聽 I formed a "company" to obtain temporary residence permit to get this

accountant for the "company" - 40/mo

water - about 10/mo at the most

electric - higher in winter and summer, average over the year about 100/mo or less

language lessons (4 per month 10 each) 40/mo

apartment cleaning (twice a month 20 each time) 40 /mo

Retirement from the U.S. to here can't be beat!聽 and every day is still filled with "wow" moments seeing the beauty of this country

Hi,

I will be setting up a company in Budva in September. The company I am working with insists I have to pay Euro 70 every month for health insurance. At some internet sites I read the amount is Euro 35.

Can you help me with your health insurance plan and how I can pay like you do
