Will my son need to join the military

Thinking of getting the Turkish passport via investment


One question that is stuck in my mind: I heard Turkey has compulsory miltary service. One of my kids is 14


Will he need to join the military when he turns 18 if he also has a Turkish passport??

From what I have been reading, it does look like military service is compulsory for Turkish citizens, but as I do not live in 罢眉谤办颈测别 myself, I would not want to confirm this as a fact.


Hopefully, a member who has Turkish citizenship or has been through this situation can share their experience and clarify whether this would apply to your son, especially in the case of dual citizenship.
