Hello, I came across this site as I was looking for information about moving to Mexico.聽 My husband is a Mexican Citizen and I am an American citizen, along with our two children (15 and 5 years).聽 I have been researching places to live in Mexico. If we can find a good fit, jobs, and schools for our kids... we are ready to move over this summer.聽 聽I am looking for something affordable, family friendly, safe, and where I will be able to find employment.聽 I am a Master's level social worker currently working in the states for the school district.聽 I also have a private therapy practice on the side.聽 I am bi-lingual as well.

My children are not bi-lingual but have been exposed to the language. So they will need either a bilingual or English speaking school.聽 We have visited San Miguel de Allende and fell in love with it.聽 I don't know what the job market is though or possibility of finding employment.聽 Not too interested in living in the northern Mexican states due to the violence.聽 I would love to hear others suggestions/experiences of living in Mexico to help assist us in making some decisions.聽 Gracias!!
