Soy una mujer estadounidense que se mud贸 a Arabia Saudita, pa铆s natal de mi esposo, en octubre de 2007. La mudanza ha sido interesante y desafiante. Adaptarse a la nueva cultura y forma de vida aqu铆 ha sido dif铆cil porque, aunque algunas partes de este pa铆s son muy modernas, muchas cosas parecen antiguas. Es dif铆cil entender las razones de muchas cosas aqu铆 y no s茅 si alguna vez lo entender茅.

My Saudi husband and I actually retired to KSA. Most people move here to work and then go back to their homelands.

There is plenty to do all the time. The Red Sea offers lots of activities. The people of Saudi Arabia are among the friendliest, kindest and most generous I have ever met anywhere. The photography opportunities are endless. Food - great restaurants, fresh seafood - Jeddah is a Foodie's paradise.
* It's very hot. Having to wear the abaya makes it even hotter. * It's very dusty. There is construction going on all over the city and it makes a mess. * Traffic is a nightmare. Many roads are blocked for no apparent reason which makes getting places take twice as long as it needs to.
