Is the start date of one year counted from Annex 46 approval or work permit approval of the Region?

when you will receive the work permit it will include when exactly the unlimited work permit started

and when you will receive the annex 46 it will be that date plus 1 year

In my case my work permit started聽 on 03/2026

i received the annex 46 on the 05/2026

but the card a requested will end on 03/2027

I am in Brussels, and my validy was provided based on date of Annex 46 (residency approval), not the work permit date

In my case, my card end date is calculated based on a 1-year period from the date of work permit approval by the Region, not from the date of Annex 46 approval.

my work permit approval date: 22/01/2026

my Annex46 date: 16/04/2026

my card expire date: 22/01/2027
